UNS Controsand - Santa Fe

Ultum Nature Systems Controsand is a line of decorative sand substrates designed for planted aquariums and aquascaping. All varieties of Controsand are inert and intended for cosmetic use: the sand will not alter water parameters, has no buffering effect on pH or hardness, and does not slow-release ammonia over time.

Santa Fe Controsand is a fine natural sand in warm reddish-brown, adobe-toned granules. The warmer palette suits biotope and riparium layouts and sits particularly well alongside driftwood and red-stemmed plants, where cooler grey sands can look sterile.

Controsand is straightforward to use. Rinse gently to remove the finest grains, then spread evenly in the aquarium.
