FAQS
Aquascape Supply Co.'s FAQs
As an aspiring aquascaper, you've got a lot of questions and we are here to help! We have all been there as a newbie scaper just getting into planted aquariums and there was many unanswered questions and confusion.
Do you ship within the US?
Yes, we ship to all 50 states including US territories such as Guam, Puerto Rico, etc.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, though we only suggest you order dry goods as perishables such as aquatics plants cannot be guaranteed live arrival of due to varying factors when items are sent abroad. We also are not responsible for your country's customs tax and duties.
Are your aquatic plants sold as bare-root or potted?
It varies by plant and listing, so check the specific product page for details. Whichever form a plant arrives in, rinse it gently and remove any rot or damaged leaves before planting, and give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its growth.
What if a plant or livestock item arrives dead or in poor condition?
Take photos as soon as you open the box and reach out to us right away, ideally the same day. Perishable items like live plants and livestock are time-sensitive, and we're much better able to help with a prompt report and clear photos than one that comes in days later.
How quickly do you process and ship orders?
Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. Live plants and livestock ship on specific days of the week to avoid sitting in transit over a weekend; check the shipping note on the product page for that item's schedule.
Do you offer local pickup or in-person help with aquascape design?
We ship nationwide, and if you're in the San Diego area you're also welcome to see aquascaping supplies and finished setups in person at our sister locations, Pet Zone Tropical Fish and Hakkai Aquascape Gallery. For design questions on your own tank, reach out through our Contact Us page and we're happy to help you plan a layout, hardscape, and plant list.
