Ludwigia Senegalensis 'Guinea' - Bunch

Ludwigia senegalensis, often sold as Ludwigia sp. 'Guinea', is one of the most sought-after red stem plants available. Its rounded leaves show heavy pink-to-magenta veining against a lighter base — a pattern no other Ludwigia matches.

This is a demanding species. Strong light, CO2 injection and consistent dosing of both macro and micro nutrients are what bring out the vein contrast. Under low light it will grow, but green out and lose the pattern entirely.
