Rotala Wallichii

Rotala Wallichii is one of the most striking stem plants in the hobby — fine, needle-like whorls that flush pink through magenta at the tips, giving a soft, feathery texture nothing else quite matches.

It is also genuinely demanding, and worth being honest about. Wallichii wants high light, injected CO2, soft acidic water and stable parameters. In a low-tech tank it typically thins out, drops its lower leaves and melts. If you are running a high-tech scape it is one of the best plants you can grow; if you are not, Rotala rotundifolia gives a similar shape for far less effort.

Live plant, shipped healthy.
