Micranthemum Monte Carlo UNS Tissue Culture

Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo' is the most popular carpeting plant in modern aquascaping, and for good reason — it forms a dense green lawn far more reliably than Dwarf Baby Tears and tolerates a much wider range of conditions.

Small round leaves spread horizontally by runners. Under good light with CO2 it will carpet a foreground in a matter of weeks; in lower light it grows more slowly and slightly taller but still fills in.

Supplied as a UNS tissue culture cup — completely free of snails, algae and pests. Rinse away the culture gel, then separate into small portions and plant each in the substrate about an inch apart.
