Aponogeton Natans - Lead Bunch

Aponogeton natans is an easy-going bulb species that sends up long, lance-shaped leaves on slender stems, many of which float at the surface like small lily pads. Mature plants readily produce white flower spikes above the waterline — a favourite feature among betta keepers.

Far more forgiving than its Madagascar Lace relative, making it a good introduction to Aponogeton for hobbyists who want a specimen plant without the maintenance burden.
