Mayaca Fluviatilis - Pot

Mayaca fluviatilis, sometimes called Stream Bogmoss, is a delicate stem plant found in the swamps of the southern United States and South America. Its needle-thin leaves spiral tightly around the stem, and when planted in a dense group it creates a soft, moss-like cloud of bright green.

A good choice for beginners — it's hardy and doesn't require CO2 injection. It does prefer clean, nutrient-rich water and moderate light; in dim conditions the lower portions of the stems yellow and die back.
